David S. McMillan, DMD, graduated from Bowdoin College with honors in Physics and Chemistry. This background helps explain his love of orthodontic engineering and of new and emerging dental technology. He also attended University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry, DMD. While there he won the Dentistry Student Clinician of the Year Award and was selected for the US Public Health Service Externship Program where he treated native Eskimos in rural Alaska.
Dr. McMillan is proud of his 5 children, all of whom have bright and shining smiles! He has been very involved in the local community of Rangeley, Maine. He has served on the following boards in past or present: Rangeley Lakes Health and Wellness Partnership, Rangeley Public Library, TRANET (including Lakeside Youth Theater and Rangeley Community Radio) , Rangeley Rotary, and the Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust, RLHT, Auxiliary Board.
Janet LaRochelle, RDH, graduated from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine and has been practicing dental hygiene since 1990. At Rangeley Family Dentistry, Janet has been keeping mouths healthy in Rangeley and the surrounding areas since 1998. Janet and her husband Jeff own and operate Black Brook Cove Campground and Guide Service on Aziscohos Lake, and have 2 happy and healthy children. Originally from Hebron, Maine, she now spends summers on Aziscohos Lake and winters in Rangeley .
